Sexual abuse occurs when a child is used for sexual purposes or acts. It can be extremely difficult for a sexually abused child to come forward and disclose the abuse. This Resource Guide was developed to assist friends, family, parents and caregivers in recognizing the signs of sexual abuse and steps that can be taken to address suspected abuse.

The Resource Guide contained in this post is for information purposes only. Please contact us with any questions about the NY Child Victims Act or to discuss your case in confidence.
