daycare abuse

Preschools, Day cares, After Care, and other child care centers are licensed by New York State and required to maintain certain standards of care for children who attend these programs.  Part of the obligation of those who operate day care centers and is to protect children who attend these programs from daycare abuse by performing adequate background checks on potential employees, preventing inappropriate touching, recognizing and addressing “red flag” behavior by employees or other children who could exhibit behaviors that are a risk to other children in the program.
